"I'm Jeanne and I bring compassionate leadership, nursing expertise, and personal understanding to Wharton County Women’s Care Center (WCWCC). My commitment to serving women began at age 15, when I faced an unplanned pregnancy, sought help from a Houston pregnancy center, and lived at Life House Maternity Home while working toward stability. The compassion and support I received during that vulnerable season continue to shape my vision for WCWCC.

My experience as a single mother further deepened my understanding of the challenges many women face. I later returned to school and became a registered nurse, combining professional knowledge with lived experience to offer women and families empathy,"practical insight, and informed support. This background strengthens my commitment to connecting young mothers with trusted relationships, community resources, and ongoing care.

As founder, president, and executive director, I lead WCWCC in providing dignity, hope, and practical assistance to women and their children. Through compassionate care and community partnerships, we seek to reflect the love of Christ, walk alongside families with grace, and trust God to bring lasting hope and transformation to our community."

"I'm Luana Savage and I have lived in Wharton County nearly all my life. I am honored to serve alongside some incredible women on the board. I believe a huge difference can be made in the lives of young mothers and babies when people who genuinely care for others during their time of need show the love of Christ Jesus and encouraging them. It is not that hard to love someone through a scary situation and it is always worth the effort. I owned and operated my photography studio for nearly 30 years and budgeting money during the slow times became a great lesson for me that I believe can help in this center."

"I'm Denise, an educator and G/T Coordinator serving students within Louise ISD. I serve on the Board of Directors as Secretary of the Wharton County Women's Care Center.

I bring experience in education, organization, program development, and advocacy to help build a strong foundation for the Center and its mission of serving women and families with compassion, dignity, and hope."

"I’m Cynthia, and I bring experience in healthcare, ministry, and nonprofit leadership to the Board. I spent 21 years in healthcare as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Clinical Specialist at Texas Children’s Hospital, and Director of Cardiopulmonary Services at Hill Country Memorial Hospital.

I later served in ministry and most recently as Director of a Houston-area nonprofit working to combat human trafficking across Texas. Through these roles, I gained extensive knowledge in the field of nonprofits and partnering with local, state, and worldwide ministries. I feel blessed to be a part of the Wharton County Women’s Care Center and honored to serve as a Board member."

"I'm Pastor Nafty and I was an assistant at Grace Assembly International in Ghana, West Africa, where I taught Pastors that could not afford University training.

I also counseled wounded men in the United States for twenty years.

My ordination is from the Assembly of God International. I also has a degree in Social Work and Sociology, from the University of Kings College in Pennsylvania.

I have joined the board of directors of the Wharton County Women's Care Center to address the responsibilities of expectant fathers moving forward, to prepare, and when needed, to challenge them."
